Excellent for young and novice gamers

We picked this up for my 6 year old, and he is a fan. He's already a veteran strategy board gamer, and so this was very simple for him to learn - more importantly, the mechanics were simple enough that his grandmother was able to pick it up without much effort, and she is not into games; she had zero chance of winning, but I think she enjoyed it. There is enough strategy that it should not be a painful experience for those who enjoy harder games, but it is intuitive enough that just about anyone should be able to pick it up. It's a good gateway game, probably not going to be one that gets played over and over for years, as there are more complex games for those who seek them. Weiterlesen

lovely game for all ages

I enjoy it, as does my 5-year-old son. Truly a bridge across generations. Lovely game, easy to understand, fast to play, and offers interesting possibilities in terms of strategy. Highly recommended if you're going to have kids playing. I'd play it at grownups-only tables as well though. Weiterlesen

We love to play it. It's interesting for both kids and parents. Develops strategy thinking. The one cons - the instructions are not always clear. But we just made our own agreement at those places and enjoying the game. Weiterlesen
