Ok, this Hyperreal figure of Darth Vader is awesome.. it's almost like a miniature Hot Toys. Here's the breakdown. Molding/Sculpt Five Stars The sculpt on the chest box, belt, belt box are on point. the colors are painted well, the under suit is a rubber molding with the texture in it. the molding of the helmet is done wonderful and painted correctly. all and all the molding is rubber and some plastic parts. Articulation Four Stars The articulation of Lord Vader is great, but theres a few drawbacks. The figure is a metal skeleton, and the suit is rubber with some plastic parts. the belt, chest box, shin guards. and boots are plastic. All of these dont hinder articulation, what does is the rubber suit. The joints on the metal skeleton are tight enough, but the rubber suit adds a lot of resistance. The wrist joints move up and down, adding swivel to allow left and right movement, the elbows are double jointed BUT I had a hard time getting the upper joint to move, there is a bicep swivel with small indentations. The shoulder lifts up almost all the way, but the shoulder pads get in the way. The waist joint is hindered by the chest box, but it is there and allows the swivel left and right, as well as a slight tilt. The legs are hindered most by the crotch plate and the rubber suit due too how thick it is, but despite this it gets great range. As you can see I got him kneeling. Accessories Five Stars The accessories that are with Lord Vader are many.. He comes with a stand, that replicates the cloud city metal catwalk. The pegs are under the stand, there are three pegs, and four peg holes on the stand. There is a clip as well under the stand which will allow you to connect the base to others (when released). Lord Vaders lightsaber is well sculpted and painted, though on mine there is extra silver paint bleeding, the blade is able to be removed, and the hilt added to Lord Vaders belt... BUT the hook that holds the hilt is a soft rubber and makes it hard to put the hilt on.. and I fear that since the hook bends and flexes so easily that it may break off. The dark lord comes with many hands.. Two Sets and a few force use hands. The sets are Fists, and Lightsaber holding hands. A Pointing finger hand, Force Choke, Holding hand for the lightsaber to hold it at an angle, and the best one a Force Deflect hand with the force deflect accessory. Darth Vader Cape, and hip skirts are fabric, weighted wonderful. Do be careful the stitching on the Cape is slowly unraveling on my copy, and I dont know why. It never got caught on anything. Though all in all I think this Hyperreal line is worth it, and #1 Darth Vader is a great addition to any star wars collection. Weiterlesen
