Bought this for a Birthday gift, recipient couldn’t be happier, arrived undamaged due to being extremely well packed, it’s well made, love the tile grids, handy when you give the board a good spin (none fall out) Beautifully presented, with score book, racks, tiles & bag stored under the lid. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the light weight tile racks, surprised me at how light they are … although it hasn’t affected playing the game … it’s a pleasure to play, and see enjoying playing Scrabble for many years ahead with it.Weiterlesen

Stunning board, let down slightly by build quality

The board is beautiful but let down by build quality. When removing the board from the box it was immediately apparent that the raised edges of the board were not properly glued or pinned in place as two of them pulled away from the edge of the board. Easily fixed with some superglue but I expected better build quality from a premium product at this price.Weiterlesen

Worth every penny!

My wife and I love love love playing scrabble. This board makes it even more enjoyable!! Why: - Base Swivels 360 degrees - Ridges between blocks keep your tiles from drifting around the board (when "certain" players get to exited during game-play :-) - Nicely made wooden tiles for each letter - If you need to set the game aside and come back to it later everything stays in place! - Huge storage area inside for the tiles, a note pad (that comes with it and a pen) with room left over. - It's actually a very well made show-piece, like a well made chessboard, we display ours on a table when not playing it. It always received LOTS of compliments This is the second one we have owned. The first one was a gift from a client who knew we loved scrabble. We did some extended traveling out of the country and sold most of our stuff before we left and donated it to a local club. We knew as soon as we came back to the U.S. we wanted to buy another one, so we bought it as a gift to each other for our 9th Anniversary. If you love playing games and you're an adult, why not spend a little more money and own something nice like this board, that you will get many years of enjoyment from.
