Small asymmetrical 'take that' game with great art and design

If you've played Schotten-Totten, or Battle Line, note that this is not a re-skin, it's a new, castle attack and defense game. The art (as on the cover) is quirky and very nice. The cards are good quality and the gameplay is unique enough to belong in any collection if you like direct conflict in your games. The rules, balance and play all show the impact of strong design and plenty of testing. Although the box 'play time' is 20 minutes, we're always over half an hour because there's so much to think about. Both sides feel frustrated and hopeless but someone is wrong! It's a great, tense feeling coming from a fine small box 2-player game.Weiterlesen

Fun game

I enjoyed this a lot. Taught it to my 4 year old and she understood it well enough to play with the original rules. With my wife and I there is a decent amount of strategy happening. Starts out pretty slow but the end of the game is agonizing.Weiterlesen
