After use..bin it.

Pricey, not worth of your money, The parts is hard disassemble after use. Its hard to manipulate the canon that splash the whipped cream. Though we have fun with the game, but after we use it. it will not work anymore... En lire plus

Perfect mess

Different variation on the same game, still creates the same mess, still creates the same tears, the cream just goes much further with it. A good idea for Christmas when nan is at the table with us :) En lire plus

Messy and smelly as ever

This is a messy game, as are all the variants of Pieface. You aim a cannon loaded with whipped cream at the person sitting opposite, and they try to block the oncoming soft missile with a hand which they can move to protect themselves. The player firing the cannon first uses the spinner to determine the angle of the cannon and how it will move, which at least gives the “target” an idea of the trajectory. If the “target” uses the hand at the right time, the whipped cream will hit the hand; as the cannon is a fixed distance from the hand it will hit or miss depending on the position of the bright red plastic hand. If the hand is hit, the cream will just trickle down the hand and board on to the table top; in the worst case scenario, it returns across the table and splatters everything in whipped cream. If the hand is missed, the person will get a faceful of cream, giving the pieface effect. This appears to be the latest stage in the evolution of Pie Face, which has had quite a few makeovers in the past years. It’s not really that much different, and like its predecessors the use of cream has unpleasant side-effects: -The smell of the cream infiltrates everything it touches, and after a short while it starts to smell rancid. Unless you wash everything straight away, the smell permeates and gets worse. When using previous versions of the game, I have always been able to tell if it has been used before, because of the stench of rotten milk that hits you as soon as the box has been opened. -It makes an awful mess. In the past, I have had to clean up carpets and walls, not to mention sending children (and even adults) up to the bathroom to shower the cream off their body and out of their hair. The washing machine gets a good work-out afterwards too. This is probably best played out of doors, but I am loth to subject other people to the dried out whipped cream deposits left everywhere. Even in your own garden it can take a good hosing down to clean everything up. The cannon is a novel twist, but I doubt that we will play this again. I just wish that there was something effective you could use instead of whipped cream. In theory you could use shaving foam, but as it isn’t good for eyes it is a no-no. En lire plus

Phantom pie flinger - messy but fun

I blame Tiswas for all this pie facing epidemic . It’s all my generations fault so we have to clean up, literally the mess from it and yes pie face as a game in any format is a total mess, but kids love it ! So this is another twist on the original, highily loved by kids game. At first I thought it would be rubbish but the kids love it and a few adults too . The idea is that the foam gets squirted out and aimed at you, from a cannon ! , and you have a small pathetic hand , that moves back in forth in front of your face to try to save face . The spinner is mean to tell you where to aim the canon , which you fill up with cream . It’s toally messy , the cream goes everywhere, and be prepare for some renegade canon squirting , and good luck getting the kids to stick to the rules but one is sure there is always tons of riotous laughter . The kids have got a bit board with the old version but love this one . As an adult I do think it’s a cheap, messy game but I see what fun it gives the kids , and I highly recommend it as we have had some really belly laughing time with it . I also wouldn’t really suggest getting there this as a present and especially for Christmas as it gets everyone playing together and lots of laughter . It’s carnage, it’s messy but it makes people happy ( even me who hates the mess ) . It’s hard to clean, it’s made for cheap matierals but that’s alwas been the case with kids toys since I was a kid in the 70s .There have been a few versions of pie face but I think this is the next best version after the original .
