5 star game but production issue makes it only 4

I saw this game on a YouTube review and knew I wanted it. It is tough to come by, so I was glad it finally was offered from a seller here on Amazon as all the online game stores I checked didn’t have it. It’s a great kid/family game. I won’t go into gameplay too much, but there are two different ways to play (this is a memory style game that is actually fun) - one way where you just are racing to be the first person to build a fort of 10 tiles in numerical order (great for kids ages 3 and up as long as they know number order) and then the more advanced way that is similar in building your fort, but with some set collection, bonus points and tiles with powers (great for older children and even adults). Game plays in about 15 minutes or less and is fun! The art is fine - not amazing but good enough that kids think it’s neat. The tiles are thick and will stand up to lots of play which is great for a kids game (could be really neat if they made a card game of this for travel - that would be really cool and fit a filler game niche). The one big issue I had was that one sheet of tiles had a large crease on the backs of them. This is not great for a memory style game where you look at the backs of tiles and try to remember where certain tiles are. This was ver disappointing. Another thing I was surprised by was how big the box is. The tiles literally take up about half the space and float randomly in the box which can really damage them. They could have saved some paper product and done a much smaller box which also would have made this travel better (which I will likely do because the game is so fun). This is a great family game that I really recommend. It is fast paced and since there are more than one way to play it really is great and kind of unique. Lots of fun, but also know that due to the nature of the game, it definitely takes up a lot of table space but is totally worth it! En lire plus
