Great looking figurine now proudly displayed on the shelf in the bedroom of a precocious and nerdy six year old boy who thought this was the bees knees. Not sure what he's going to do with the extra monster sized leg though. Can't see the point of it at all personally. Good looking toy. A collectible. He is beyond thrilled with it. Weiterlesen

Great accuracy in design, the 'wow' play factor and robust too!

This series of fully pose-able marvel characters are made of very robust plastic that will take the knocks without coming apart. Ideal for younger boys who like to tear their toys part, these characters have 3 moveable joints in their legs, 3 in their arms, moveable waist and neck. Because they can be posed in almost any position, you can act out your battles between heroes and villains, and because of the way the neck moves you can almost generate emotion in their poses. Whereas costumes are painted on, they are realistic and look the part. Figures like these are great for your child's imagination and can occupy them for hours - particularly if you have Spider-man and a villain too. Each figure comes with a piece of Sandman, so if you collect the lot then you have an extra free figure! This figure claims to be unsuitable for age 3 and under, but you have to be sure your child is well past the 'putting in mouth stage'. Great accuracy, great play factor too. Weiterlesen

Buy one, have to buy more?

This is somewhat of a grumpy review due to the slightly manipulative nature of these toys. Let me start by saying the product itself is well made, easily articulated and has gone down very well with the marvel-superhero obsessed young man whom it was intended for. I have no real quibbles about the quality of the toy itself. However, I am a bit peeved at the 'spare leg' - which I have to admit, I didn't fully realise was not part of the character in this set. I mistakenly thought it was a spare/interchangeable part, and was a little dismayed to realise that it was actually part of another character which you can only build by buying all the other characters. Knowing the nagging power of young children, I can imagine many parents finding themselves having to purchase multiple items to make up the rest of the desired toy once the kids catch on to what it is. We disappeared ours rather quickly before he could catch on. I find this a slightly cynical sales ploy (although part of me recognises how clever a marketing tool it is). Weiterlesen
