For fans young and old

A nice model for fans of old and young, collectors could keep it in the box and have it as part of a well looked after collection, but kids could plan with it. It would entertain and could be a nice addition to any marvel collection. They are quality, with a heavy plastic and the joints move easily.Weiterlesen

Vine Review: I received the Jackal Figure. Good representation

Being a Vine review. Actually I received a Jackal model; which retails at approx. £27.00. Anyhow, this is therefore a review of the overall range of models. The plastic is soft, the joints flexible, and the representation of the character is very good. In fact possibly too life-like for younger children. This is part of a series which if you buy the whole range enables you to build your own Sandman. Whether you want to invest approx. £200+ for this is something you might want to think about. I have a feeling that rather than as a toy this may appeal to folk who collect super-hero figures, in which case this might seem a good investment.Weiterlesen

Nice toy, but these prices........

This is a great series. The figures are made of a surprisingly soft plastic that makes them much more tactile and enjoyable to play with. The level of articulation is remarkable - limbs and torsos can be bent in any direction the human body can, plus a bit more just for good measure! The figure also comes with some replacement hands/forearms so Ms. marvel can do her body-morphing thing! Ms. Marvel is far from my favorite Marvel character but as a toy there is little to fault here - aside from the price. Forty pounds is simply absurd for a 6 inch action hero figure. Even though it is clearly aimed at adult collectors, I still find that price tag to be nothing short of eye-watering. At 12-15 pounds I'd give this 5 stars, but for such a ridiculous price, I have to take one away. This figure is part of the 6 figure Legends series, each of which also comes with a part of another figure (in this case, Sandman). Ms. Marvel comes with his torso. If you get all 6 figures from the series you can build your own Sandman toy. This gimmick has been used for years and years and I don't know that I've ever seen one of the bonus figures actually completed....Weiterlesen

This review is for the Jackall character / series of figures as I was sent the wrong one. They are cooourful and have softish plastic which is a bit pliable. They seem to be nice, small toys - good for imaginative play. However!... these items are clearly more aimed at a collector as opposed to a child. They are extortionate!!!Weiterlesen
