These are awesome and the price was excellent. They are polypropylene and we used them for a Trunk or Treat with colored "potions" in them where we dropped pellets of dry ice in periodically to get the vapor effect. Plastic was great so I didn't have to risk my laboratory glassware around kids. These have the graduations molded in which is excellent...you don't have to worry about a pad print or paint coming off with cleaning.

For the price these can not be beat. They are good quality and are easy to use. The plastic is thick and sturdy but still allows to to clearly see thru it. The pictures don't do it justice. They look smokey in the pictures but they are actually pretty clear

No meniscus!
Good price, no meniscus to deal with, and you can't break them like glass!

Very difficult to see the scale
I bought this set because I needed another, and wanted a taller set which I believe would be a little more accurate. I used it once, and could not really see the scale because it is just molded. My other set is both molded and painted on the scale. This set will end up at the back of a shelf, never to be used again. You really want a painted scale like the picture...

The kids in my science clubs love to use real tools and I don't have to worry about them breaking anything. Kindergartners on up can easily use these graduated cylinders.
