Very pleased with the 1/24 scale RC model of the 2020 Land Rover D90

First Impressions: I was very impressed with how well modelled the 1/24 scale Land Rover D90 looked. Many of the key features have been included like the wipers (front and rear), door handles, side mirrors, bonnet and bumper grills. Build Quality Paint Finish: For a mass-produced product the body paint work was nicely applied with very minor defects. Electronics: The electronics used work well to provide that budget experience that reflects the entry level requirements for anyone who wants to own a low-priced RC toy or be given the experience of driving an RC car without over-spending. Toughness & ruggedness: The D90 model does well in deflecting impact when driven into objects at low or high speeds. It feels solid and very robust. Some careful thought has gone into the injection mold and thickness of plastic. Functionality Steering: The model can move in 6 directions (forward, turn right/turn left) or (Reverse, turn right/turn left). There is also the option of setting a preferred turning angle by using the turn adjuster that is located under the vehicle between the front wheels. Controller: The controller is very basic and made of plastic. The on and off switch plus binding light helps to indicate to when the vehicle is connected to the controller and the battery of the controller contains enough charge. Radio Range: The radio operating range in an open unobstructed arear is within 10 meters. I found that this reduced when in populated or obstructed areas. Value for Money: The price for this budget level model is just right. You get a function vehicle that will last a long time if you treat it right and know how to source replacement parts at your local modeling shop or online. Ability to Modify: The model really surprised me on how easily it can be modified to take it to the next level. The rear lights have led light channels (3mm) in diameter, you can add your own light to work with the front lights are on or when reserve is selected. The transmission motor can also be upgraded to higher performing version for improved speed. Upgrading the integrated receiver, wheels and tyres and controller are additional options you can consider. Out of the box there are no accessories provided. Since I have access to a 3D Printer, I have added some off-roading & adventuring accessories to enhance the overall outlook of the vehicle. Fun Factor: I have enjoyed driving the D90 indoor, outdoors on smooth surfaces (tarmac & foot paths), uneven surfaces (gravel, sand, grass and mud). The low ride height restricts the type of surface you can successfully traverse through. For a basic model the possibilities are endless on how you can play. Overall Experience Pros  Price is good for the entry level buyers.  Model looks scaled well and built with long term use in mind.  Can be upgraded using better components.  Very good experience with the buyer.  Fun to drive. Con  Controller range could be better.  No suspension at the front or back to help smoothen the drive on rough terrain.  The spare tyre is just a plastic mold, it can however be removed and replaced with a wheel from another vehicle to keep the aesthetics looking right. Transmission is only Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)

My kids love this car . Even the 2 year old enjoys controlling it. Its small not yo cause any damage to my toes . It also looks so much like the original , it's brilliant

Do not buy Motor broken poor quality

After a days use on Xmas day the motor has disconnected from the wheels and now it does not drive, children very upset and no way to complaining or returning item it seems
