Factory placed screws already striped out

I had such high hopes! Assembly was straight forward and easy, and the benches can partially pre-assembled. However with in hours the excitement turned to extremely disappointing! I set this up last night before going to bed, woke up and brought my son outside to show him, as I soon as I opened the lid to turn it into the benches 3 screws that were placed by the factory (that piece comes pre-assembled) popped out and three more are coming out on the same side. So that bench is unusable and we haven’t even put sand in it. Edited to add that I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the parts free of charge with in a week

First impression: great quality

I literally just finished building this sandbox so I can’t yet speak to its durability and how long it will actually last but my first impression is it’s great quality. It took me about an hour to assemble while also chasing my toddler around the yard. So if I had been kid free I could see this only taking about 30-40 minutes to fully assemble if you’re using a drill like I was. It’s heavy, feels sturdy and looks great. We plan on putting a layer of weed barrier underneath so that nothing starts to grow into the sandbox once it’s in the yard, and weed barrier won’t trap any moisture so any water that may get in there will still be able to drain just fine. There’s a lot of negative reviews and honestly I’m not sure why. All the pieces came fully intake, I had no issues with any wood splitting or anything like that. The screws felt fine and did their job. Didn’t feel cheap at all. The hinges for the doors are a little less than good quality but you can easily replace those if they happen to break down the road. So all in all, at first glance this product is 100% worth the price
