Best map for two or three players

I really love the Creta map for smaller play count. It's perfect for two. The incense/gold trade in Aegyptus adds a nice twist without being too cumbersome. If you play a lot of Concordia (why wouldn't you?) this is well worth the price. Especially if you want a good option for two players.Weiterlesen

Great two player map!

The Creta map is awesome for allowing a tighter map with two players, increasing player interaction. The new card market display allows you to purchase cards using wine, which creates a unique situation where cards are cheaper in theory, but forces you to diversify what regions you want to be producing in. The Creta side also has a province with only one city that produces one good of your choice, which is a nice little wrinkle. If you love Concordia, you will love this expansion!Weiterlesen

Nice Maps for 2-3 Players

These maps are nice additions to Concordia! My only issue (and hence the loss of a star) is that they're both a bit small and would work best with 2-3 players. I think trying to play either map (Crete esp.) with 4-5 would be a disaster! My recommendations: Creta: 1-2 players. Yes, this map would be GREAT for a solo variant of the base game (if there was one :( )! Just don't try this map with more then 2 players. Don't. Aegyptus: Perfect for 3, a little big for two and too small for 4-plus. IMO.Weiterlesen
