Tough Puzzle But A Lot Of Fun

This is a huge puzzle - when finished it measured 27" by 38"! It took every tray in the house to hold all 2,000 pieces as I worked on it over several weeks. I knew this would be a challenging puzzle just because of the large number of pieces, but it actually was much harder than I thought it would be. There are only so many colors to paint a VW bus and there are a LOT of busses in this puzzle. There are 13 across and 15 down (with several busses taking up two spots). The busses in the puzzle measure 2 7/8" across and 1 3/4" high so the details are not hard to see. However, there is no poster supplied and the only picture of the completed puzzle is a small photo on the top of the box. The busses on the box are only 1" across and 5/8" high so it isn't easy to see much detail when trying to figure out where to put a completed bus. The pieces are well cut and fit together tightly. There is no question of whether a piece is correctly placed or not --- if it should go there it clicks in tightly. There was very little puzzle dust in the package. There were no pieces missing. Great fun, and harder than you’d think.

This was a fabulous jigsaw. It wasn’t particularly difficult, but it took a long time and made my brain hurt. My son would come into the room and find me muttering things like “Green van on green background with a red edge” many times over. Apart from a few standout vans, it was impossible to keep in my mind which one was where. I finished it in 12 days which is long for me - 2000 pieces usually takes 4-6 days. Highly recommended! A definite "must have" for VW fans...

Very good quality jigsaw puzzle. Enjoyed it very much... Having a good knowledge of VW busses "model years" was a big help in identifying the many different "model years" in the pieces. A definite "must have" for all VW fans! Materials are non-toxic, recyclable and made with soy-based inks. En lire plus
