What?!

Well i purchased the Atlanteans with the knowledge they're a little bit overwhelming but geez!, add/use those extra cards for the other civs and you'll be reaching 130+points at least with every civ, i feel that the gameplay of the Atlanteans it's like baby steps that "takes you nowhere" but in the end but that's a lie, like the cake.Weiterlesen

Great expansion, components didn't bother me like I thought they would.

I avoided this for a long time for a very petty reason... the Atlantean's center board is in 2 pieces. That bugged me so much, I held out for a new edition with a single piece board but it never came. So, I bought it anyway and I LOVE this faction! The upgrades aren't as complicated as I thought and they don't over complicate the existing factions as much as I thought. Basically its a special resource those factions can make with certain cards, but it doesn't do anything unless another card requires it, so no one is ever really REQUIRED to "tech up" which is what I feared. Can't recommend this enough if you like Imperial Settlers already.Weiterlesen

Great expansion! Wish it had a bigger box.

Atlanteans take some getting used to and I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet but eventually. My only gripe about this and the others is that none of the boxes adequately keep the cards together, and the box is just big enough that it won't fit nicely into the original box. It would be great if there was a Dominion type box that could keep everything together and organized.Weiterlesen

An expansion for expansions sake. Not sure how often I'll use them.

I'm still up in the air on this expansion. I don't necessarily like the complexity that requires one side of this nation's buildings to sink at the end of the game. However, I do like the new cards they add to the other civilizations. If you have Imperial Settlers and like expansion you must of course have this. I'm just not sure how often I'll get this civilization out of the box.Weiterlesen
