A beautiful outfit for a beautiful doll!

I am familiar with Miniland, as they are sold through some independent online toy stores. My 7-year-old daughter has a couple of their dolls, which she loves! I ordered this outfit to go with her "Caucasian Soft Body Doll" and it's the same great quality that I have come to expect from the brand. Something to note is that Miniland offers their dolls in a few different sizes so make sure that this 12 5/8" set correctly corresponds to the size of the doll you are shopping for. I appreciate that Miniland manufactures in Spain, and this outfit is no exception! I go out of my way to support brands that choose to manufacture in Europe, a region with one of the most stringent worker, materials, and environmental safety standards. This outfit is a beautiful greyish-blue color that is gender neutral. It's beautifully knit and well represented in the description photos. It's stretchy and doesn't have any closures. The doll can be easily dressed by putting the feet through the neckline and pulling the whole outfit up. I recommend this outfit, as well as the Miniland brand in general!Weiterlesen

Pull-on knit outfit, fits only the hard bodied 12 5/8 in Miniland dolls

If you are looking for an outfit for your soft body 12 5/8 inch Miniland doll, this is not it. Nor is it an outfit for a soft bodied 12 inch Corolle doll or something similar. However, it does fit the hard bodied 12 5/8 inch Miniland dolls--just barely. I must admit that this style outfit is not my most favorite from Miniland. Pros: -It is nicely made and finished -No buttons or closures to fasten--easier for a young child to put on -The feeling of the yarn is very nice and makes for a nice, quality feeling garment Cons: -Sizing is misleading -Text in the listing is currently misleading as it says "New collection of clothes for 12 5/8 inch Dolls made with ECO recycled materials" and "Fit your 12 5/8 inch Dolls perfectly with this handmade Doll clothes made in Spain"--which unfortunately isn't true for even all of the 12 5/8 inch dolls that Miniland sells I think that if this outfit didn't have knit footie portions, it would be able to fit the soft body 12 5/8 inch doll. The issue is that it doesn't pull up high enough around the neck. Overall, it is a nice outfit. I do think the price is slightly high for it--currently at $26.98. I would think between $18-20 would feel more reasonable.Weiterlesen
