There's not much to say about this kind of publication. If you need to practise your scales and appegios, then this thin "book" is an absolute necessity - the main reason being the suggested fingerings for all the scales and appegios. I doubt a newer edition would offer anything new - get the cheapest one you can find. Whether it's for exams or just to improve your own technique, scales and appegios are invaluable.

Nice quality book that present initial challenges that get easier as you practise.

I am impressed with the style and quality of this grade 8 book. It is made available for the sole purpose for students to learn all the required piano scales and arpeggios. Good results of relevant playing scales are achieved through continuous and series study and this book will help you on your way.
