Bien mais peut mieux faire
Livraison et qualité du produit irréprochable. Je suis simplement déçu du fait que nous ne puissions pas changer de langue sur ces jeux pour tablettes Leapfrog. En lire plus

my son loves it.
I was very much against computer games for children, considering it far better for them to play with real things, preferably outside, but I realise that the leappad does have something to offer even small children and this game is great. My son loves it. He is 4 and has a complete aversion to holding a pen, reading, writing, or anything remotely associated to learning. But with this game he is developing his hand eye coordination, following instructions, he is practising holding a pen and I consider it fantastic that there is something out there that can encourage and stimulate him without him even realising it! The game kept him busy on a rainy holiday and a long car journey. It's not cheap but it is a good game for small children. En lire plus

Educational Fun!
Christmas gift for my grand-daughter. I really like the fact that well loved characters help make education fun, and teach about numbers and and basic mathematics. Skills she needs in school and in life. En lire plus

Leapfrog!
My only worry about buying these games is that my son tends to lose them. But he is under the recommended age for this toy so it is Mom error for not watching him more closely. He was almost three when he got the Leapster Explorer for christmas last year and is now almost four and still loves to play with it. His accumulated three games have kept him entertained all year and he has finished all of the badges and missions in the three games so this will be his forth game. I am sure he will love it as much has he does his toy story three, pixar pals and cars games. He may be getting an upgrade to a new leapster for his birthday so his one year old sister can adopt his old one. She is already figuring out how to play the games. Leapster is a great learning company and I recieved this a day earlier than expected. YAY Amazon! En lire plus

Underwhelming game. If you must buy it do yourself a favour and buy some earphones for your child.
My just four year old received this game with his leappad. He hasn't played with it much since although seems to enjoy it when he does. It's good for second language English speakers as there is a lot of repetition of the name of the numbers. Beyond this I think your money is best spend else A few criticisms and thoughts The gameplay is hugely repetitive. Especially the "follow the treasure map stage." Actually as my son speaks English as a second language it has been useful for him as he has to "find the blue butterflies". But the characters always say exactly same things and I suspect this gets quickly tedious even for a four year old. Unfortunately this stage is central to the game so you will be hearing a lot of it. This is one game I want to leave the room when he is playing as the soundtrack is so irritating. Other mini-games are a bit nicer. I think the lava path one is good. The map construction is also good although the controls are very fiddly and my son often thinks he has the answer wrong because he fails to exactly line up a map piece with the position into which it is supposed to be inserted. In all there are much better games available for the leap pad, although perhaps not so much that focuses on maths. Even here I am not convinced the game is really teaching that much although it has helped my son learn the names of the numbers in English (he knows them already in Portuguese). In all, I wouldn't pay more than 10 pounds for this; I think the dinosaur menu game for download might be a better introductory maths game and is much cheaper. But, I think if you find you must buy it because you want a maths game or your child loves Jake, then buy some headphones to go with it. It is painful to listen to. En lire plus

LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer Jake and the Neverland Pirates Game
I'm sure it is wonderful but I had no idea that it needed something expensive before it could be used. It was just a kind of stocking filler as my son said that his little lad wanted anything to do with the Neverland Pirates. I had no idea about computer software or anything. In my mind I was buying something to lay all his Pirate toys out on, and keep together. It seemed even better that he could learn from using it, some kind of treasure hunt. I bought it a couple of months ago and we had to cancel a couple of visits due to one thing and another so I have just given it to him. His dad says it needs a computer or something to play it on as it is an educational toy. He took it with him to find out more. Just wanted to warn some silver surfer like myself that one needs to be sure what is being purchased. I was a bit rash. En lire plus
