A quality set.
Again, Hubelino has produced an expansion set that adds a lot of fun and interest to the Hubelino ball runs. A previous customer has indicated that the switch does not always switch. Which would be disappointing because switching is the purpose of the device. However, I have found that if the components are carefully aligned when assembled, that the switching function, while not 100%, is still quite reliable. Besides, it's sort of nice to have a little bit of randomness in the assembly.

Intéressant pour un enfant de 6 ans qui aime construire mais limité car peu de pièces (43) et donc peu de combinaisons possibles. Heureusement les DUPLO sont compatibles.

Extends the life of your official bricks
We have a large collection of these Hubelino sets. And by implication we also have a large box of official Duplo bricks lingering around even though the children have grown a little beyond their Duplo age. Every month or so we help them build intricate Hubelino marble tracks, sometimes up to the ceiling. So these Hubelino sets are brilliant. Already with a single set you can build a small marble run as basic tracks and a couple of balls are included. But the fun really lies in the modularity and the ability to combine with other sets and your existing Duplo. This particular 43 piece set contains a a base plate, a number of straight tracks, slopes, a crossing and various curves - the short curves are particularly helpful as are the basic white bricks that are included. The 2 main distinctive pieces are the manual switches, that allow you to create alternatives routes in you track layouts. The quality of the Hubelino tracks and parts seems very high, possibly even better than the original product, so the set is very durable.
