Good set of modelling dough

The set includes 8 different colour doughs, 2 cutters, a rolling pin, a sculpting tool, some cardboard cut outs, a grip seal bag and a storage bucket. There is a good range of colours provided. Although it's described as a 'Farm modeling dough bucket' it's only loosely based around the farm theme. The two cutters are of a horse and a cat, and the cardboard cutouts are of some sheep and a dog, but other than the inspirational farm pictures on the bucket it's essential a bucket of modeling dough and basic tools that I can use to create whatever I want with, It's not restrictive. The dough is stiffer than regular play dough and holds its shape better. I found it easier to make 3d models with. There's a grip seal bag to put the open modeling dough inside to prevent it drying out. It's a good quality dough and it didn't stick to or stain the table I was working on. It's easy to work with, it's not too soft or too hard. It's a good set with lots of possibilities for creative play.

Would be a good set of the dough wasn't dry

Sadly the dough we received was dry. This meant when the kids first played with it, the dough crumbled a lot and wasn't as easy to model as it should be. Disappointing. The shapers etc are reasonable quality and perfectly good enough for toddlers to use.

Good quality dough, lots of fun, good activity for children

The GIOTTO be-bè Kids Farm Modelling Dough Bucket was given to our 4 year old grand-daughter. She loves arts and crafts and is forever occupied playing and utilising every bit of paint, glue, materials available. She loves modelling and playing with dough. She liked this set of 8 pots and the items to cut and shape that arrived. This set occupied her for 30 minutes and then had enough its onto something else. She has used this set every other day for the past week, so it does get good usage. We thought this was a nice quality item and highly suited for young children to use.
