CHECK THE LANGUAGE BEFORE YOU ORDER!!

CONS : Check the language, I've got the Spanish version, I would prefer the English version! Now I have to learn all the relevant Spanish / find translated cards! PROS: Okay, the game itself is LIT! I love the versatility that you could take the set as it is, and have a decent time with it... OR... you could do what most people do, and totally immerse yourself, painting the minis to the nth level of detail, building terrains and battlefields, and generally having a great time doing the surrounding arts and crafts - and that's before you've even had your first battle! Then you learn the 50 pages of game mechanic (okay, sounds like a lot, but it gives you some really cool versatility in having your battles - I've never played Warhammer, so can't really say how this compares...) Then you can have some battles. I've played a couple of times with my 12 year old, and every time we've had drama and hilarity. To get the most out of this game, you'll need to buy a bunch more expansion sets, terrain and paint. It's more like a holistic hobby than a game... but in my book that's not a terrible thing. If you're already into D&D or Warhammer Minis, and you like Star Wars, this will probably interest you. I'd suggest trying to get a play-test at a Games Store if you can first if you're unsure.
