Si ya te aburriste de los juegos de supermercado, lo recomiendo bastante.
NOS GUSTÓ MUCHO. Tiene buen nivel de estrategia (en el turno se tienen diferentes opciones y formas de jugar) y es muy fluido (los turnos son rápidos y la partida en general también). Me pareció bastante original la dinámica del juego. No entiendo a la otra reseña, nosotros en la tercera partida ya casi ni leíamos las cartas. Eso sí, si el inglés del grupo no es bueno, hagan lo que nosotros, compren fundas y pongan las traducciones dentro (57×89 mm y tamaño Tarot). Me gustó más jugarlo con 4 jugadores. Porque con sólo 2 jugadores hay cartas que quedan muy débiles. Aunque sigue estando equilibrado el juego. Weiterlesen

Grifters is one of those games which can be enjoyed by gamers or non-gamers
is a fun little card game by Indie Boards & Cards, the same folks who published the popular hidden identity game and equally-popular bluffing game . I own and enjoy both games, and have also heard great things about (which I have NOT played), so was excited to have the chance to play this game at Oshkosh, Wisconsin's premiere gaming convention, Newgameapalooza. I'd describe Grifters as a hand management game, with a different feel than either of Indie's previous games, although it's set in the same "Dystopian Universe" setting as their previous games and features the artwork in the same style. Game play itself is fairly simple. Players begin with a hand of cards, each of which which represents the members of their criminal "gang." Each gang member has unique abilities which may be employed to make extra money, recruit additional members, or thwart your opponents' plans. Several sets of "jobs" for each gang to complete are laid out in a common area. Once your gang has enough members with the prerequisite skills required to complete each job, you can claim it by putting those members' cards in your "hideout," a special playing area where they lay low for a few turns, and a new job of increasing complexity replaces the job just completed. If your gang lacks the skills required to complete a job, you can still place individual gang members into your hideout to use their unique abilities. The 'meat' of the game is the way that cards "advance" from one section of your hideout to another, ensuring that each card played is taken out of commission for several turns before returning to your hand. This means that once your gang members have completed a job and have ducked into your hideout, they'll be unavailable for additional jobs in the interim. This interesting game mechanic makes timing extremely important, as you can't take any actions at all without committing valuable and irreplacable resources for a significant length of time. In other words, you need to plan your moves well, because too many big jobs in too short a time can leave you without enough muscle to accomplish anything else. This is a simple game to learn. The outside of the box says that Grifters is recommended for ages 14 and up, but I think that children under 14 could play the game-- it's no more complicated than to play, although the strategies required to be really good at Grifters are an order of complexity greater than in Monopoly because they require timing and advance planning. This is a nice, easy, competitive game which can be enjoyed by gamers and non-gamers alike. For the money, Grifters is defiinitely worth having. Weiterlesen

If you like Resistance or Coup, this is a great addition to your library. Structurally completely different, it still feels similar in all the right ways. This one is less directly antagonistic (but still competitive), and works better in smaller groups (3 was about perfect, but 2/4 feel like they'd work well, too) [review after 1 playthrough; I'll edit if my views change] Pros: * easy to learn * complicated strategy * fun world-building * good art * solid, simple components * makes you want to play again * simple victory conditions, but possible to come from behind * makes you want an expansion, but doesn't require one Cons: * some of the card text is slightly unclear (but the rulebook has longer explanations) * some cards (jobs and people) are objectively worse, sometimes in odd ways (the easiest Job in one stack gives you better rewards than the next one). I'm sure there are reasons, but it was surprising the first time through. * coins only come in one denomination (1M), so counting/comparing is a bit tricky (but everyone stacking in 5s resolves most of this) * the box fits components *almost* perfectly.
