Awesome detail!

I loved the movie and this figure is a three in one. You have the husky, the thing that grabs the ceiling and parts that you can add to the husky when it mutates. The details are really good. Will add to my sci-fi and horror collection.

Definitely worth owning!

NECA did a fantastic job replicating the creature's first appearance in the movie. The sculpt and paint is fantastic. And assembly instruction sheet is included, but be warned, it takes some patience and very strong fingers to put together. Once assembled, it has a tendency to want to fall apart if you try to move the whole thing around, but most collectors probably won't be doing that anyway once it's put together. Definitely the best Thing figure to come out so far!

Great figures.

You've seen the movie and you want figures of the Things dog transformation sequence. Well, incredibly, here they are. From dog sitting harmlessly to full transformation, all in exquisite detail. A must for the Thing fans.

nice looking but incomplete

The figure has pieces you're supposed to connect that have no piece on the piece to connect to. Pieces that you snap in, the snap connect part isn't on the piece to be snapped into to connect to another piece. Tentacle pieces for example are shown where to be placed on the instructions, but the whole to snap the tentacle in isn't thru the body fully. There's a start whole but nothing further for the snap piece to go into. The legs have holes in them to connect, I guess? but no snap connect piece on the side of the body of the figure to connect to. Seems like a rushed product.
