great little astronaut toy for a 3-year-old!

No complaints, 4yo boy loves it!

Got this as part of a Christmas gift for 4yo son. He loves it, the hatch is a bit hard to open but that will only stop younger children still dealing with dexterity. It was hard for me as well until we figured out the knack for it (where to hold to make the latch easier to pop open). The projectile doesn't fire really hard which is great for when my son decides to shoot us and makes it easy to recover since it doesn't go far. He is super satisfied with the firing action and learned to load it himself after watch us do it for him. The astronaut fits perfectly into the ship with helmet on or off, we didn't have problems with the helmet not staying on the figure but my son doesn't get wild with his pretend play. The astronaut doesn't stand great by himself (you have to stand him up with one arm out to counterbalance him properly) but my son always has a hand on him anyway for his pretend play so it is not a big deal. Head does not swivel but arms rotate and hinge up and down, and hands turn at the wrists all the way around. The legs bend at the hips but are in tandem so can only move together but that makes it easy to make him sit. Some other reviews complained about the small size but I found it perfect for the hands of my 4yo. Not too big and not too small (and easy to store when not in use). I figured out from the image online that the gun could be stored under the opposite ship wing (opposite the projectile side) by the handle which was a nice bonus. We are very pleased.

Piece of junk!

This toy was so frustrating for my 3yo. It's hard to open the ship's hatch—I had to use a tool each time to pry it open! The astronaut's helmet falls off too easily. Awful!

It's small

Small but ok... My son doesn't seem to love it nor hate it. It's just ok.

Great for my four year old son

My four year old son loves this toy. I bought it to accompany the Battle Rover from Imaginext. He has been playing with this entire line non-stop. This is a very simple toy, but the man goes in fine and it's great fun to fly the ship around!
