8 Titel als Playback

Dieses Heft präsentiert auf 55 Seiten und einer Play-Along CD 8 alte Blues-Titel für Mundharmonika. Die Noten des Harmonika-Parts haben bis zu 4 Vorzeichen und sind um die Angabe der Blaskanäle ergänzt. Die Texte sind im Heft vorhanden. Die CD bietet jeden Titel einmal als Demo mit Harmonika, aber ohne Gesang. Sowie einmal nur die Rhythmusgruppe alleine. Der fehlende Gesang hat zwar den Vorteil, dass man die Titel auch selbst zur CD singen kann. Aber wer die Titel nicht kennt, muss sie sich mühsam aus den Tiefen des Internets zusammensuchen. Ich persönlich kannte nur das Muddy Waters Stück. Wer die Harmonika-Parts nachspielen will, muss wissen, wie man durch Blues-Technik auf einer diatonischen Harmonika in einer anderen als der auf dem Instrument angegebenen Tonart spielen kann. Man benötigt dann für dieses Heft fast einen kompletten Satz diatonischer Harmonikas. Und zwar in A, Bb, F, C und D. Man sollte schon einige Lehrbücher über Blues-Harmonica absolviert haben, ehe man sich hier heran wagt. Ob man dann so ein Buch noch benötigt , ist eine andere Frage. Denn dann hat man eigentlich schon das Handwerkszeug, um die Titel von einer CD nach Gehör nachzuspielen.

Best harmonica books on the market

I love this book and it's play-a-long CD. It comes with the automatic slow down software so that you can listen and learn or play along at a slower speed - but, you are still playing in-time with a band. The other added benefit to the automatic slow down software is that you can change the key a song is played in. This means that if you only have a couple of harmonicas you can still play along with all of the tunes by changing the key to match the harmonicas you own. Let's face it, not everyone owns a harmonica in every key. Great selection of tunes. Why practice by yourself when you can play with these great backing tracks - this way you are always playing "in time" which is the key to successful playing when you get together with your band. Sure beats a metronome. My only complaint would be that these transcriptions are almost too detailed and include a lot of "ghost" notes and notated tongue-blocking breaths that are very subtle - things I don't really hear on the original recordings or the play-along tracks, but I am just now learning how to tongue block. The other thing I like is that on several tunes the author has written out (and played) instrumental versions of the vocals. These are done completely in the style of the artist and enable you to play complete instrumental versions of the songs for those of you that are not planning to sing or to create nice back ground parts to accompany a singer. I've really learned a lot from this book.

un bon petit livre de blues débutant. Tout n'est pas égale, il y a deux ou trois trés bon play back.Pour les accompagnement à l'harmo sur certains ce n'est qu'une petite rythmique pas trés intéressante.Il y a mieux.On va dire 60 pour cent du livre est bon.tonalité Bb et A
