Das Faultierbaby ist für Kinder (hier Mädchen, 6)vom Gesichtaudruck etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da es nicht dem klasischen "Kindchenschema" entspricht und daher etwas erwachsener -vielleicht zunächst fremd und angsteinflösend wirkt-und die Kinder länger brauchen um sich emotional damit vertraut zumachen. Die Enkelin(6) hatte das Faultierbaby im Zoo gesehen und wünschte sich dieses Stofftier;-es ist als Stofftier sehr authentisch dem lebendigen Faultier nachgebildet.Weiterlesen

Baby Sloth is the Sweetest!

I finally got my baby sloth (Lola). She arrived in my mailbox on time I assume (2 days for Amazon Prime). However, I was unable to check my mail until today because I misplaced the mailbox key. So as far as the puppet looking like the picture goes, she did come out of the package looking a little squished but within the next half hour expanded to her proper shape. Negatives: For an adult hand (and mine are small) it is a little hard to fit comfortably but does fit. Her eyes are hard to see. Positives: I love her even more then I thought I would. She has so much personality and the cute little short story on the tag was a good surprise. She has a cute little tail I wasn't expecting and looks realistic. My husband thought she was real! I wanted a Folkmanis puppet for a very long time but couldn't decide which one. I am very happy with the one I chose and would recommend it.Weiterlesen

Absolutely adorable.

Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. I love sloths, and have collected several, with more on my wish list. I did want a puppet, to take with me places, as kind of a prop or conversation starter, as well as, well, cuddles. I am a silly old woman :). Recently my son and I visited our favorite ginormous bookstore and I fell in love with this little guy. But ... it was $40, and just could not do that at the time. Later at home, I realized that it was the same sloth puppet on my wish list, but here it was $25. I do try to support local stores, but this time, for that much less, I ordered it. This little fella (or gal -- mine is definitely a fella, lol) is SO adorable! I have large hands, and am able to nicely reach both arms and mouth and s - l - o - w - l - y move him, and he just is ... lovable! Almost feel like I have a real sloth, he has such a personality! I love stuffies of all sorts, but this one is extra special. The only issue at all is the velcro is not as strong as it could be, and hanging him on my large goose-neck lamp doesn't work well. (Two other critters also hang from it with no problems)Weiterlesen
