Viel Spielspaß, die Investition lohnt sich

Ein Spiel, das in der Masse der Neuerscheinungen leicht übersehen wird und nur in begrenzter Auflage zu bekommen ist. Der recht hohe Preis hat sich wirklich gelohnt ... wir hatten schon viel Spaß mit diesem Spiel. Das Material ist sehr hochwertig und funktional. Ich hatte befürchtet, dass das Spiel sehr grüblerisch wird, auch weil man auf dem ganzen Spielplan gleichzeitig aktiv ist, aber es hat sich gezeigt, das das Spiel doch sehr übersichtlich ist und man sich schnell für einen der raffinierten Zugkombinationen entscheiden kann. Das Spiel ist sehr strategisch mit so gut wie keinem Zufall außer der Anfangsaufstellung, wo einem Wege von anderen verbaut werden können. Wir werden dieses SPiel sicherlich noch viele Male spielen .. eine Investition, die sich lohnt.Weiterlesen

Die beste Neuheit Essen 2017

Unter den ganzen Neuheiten von Essen 2017 ist dies wohl das beste Spiel für mich. Die Regel ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und man muss wohl etwas recherchieren - aber wenn man die Chance hat, es auf einem Spieleevent erklärt zu bekommen, ist es ein recht einfaches Spiel. A train game that will bring you along for the ride!

Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Overall I really enjoyed Whistle Stop - it is a tile placement variation on the Pick up and deliver game mechanic. The art and components are made well, the gameplay is fairly easy to learn as you go through the rounds and while there are levels of strategy and gameplay that took me some time to focus on I enjoyed the experience a lot and can't wait to get it back out onto the table. Con - this game takes some time to play and if focus to much on "winning the game" over enjoying the experience and journey you might find that amount of choices between tile placement, stocks, resource trading / management, and movement might become a bit much. This game takes some time to play and so you need to be willing to enjoy the ride and puzzle of the game.
