Good starter activity, leaving wishing for more

We got our hands on the Barbie "studio" kit, a set that promised fun and education in new skills. The kit itself is a good start, but it would be nice to have more supplies, or a way to replenish / refill them. Pros: + Sparks interest in the young ones, definitely was appreciated + Engaging for children who are interested in design. Cons: - The initial supplies run out quickly, and finding refills or additional materials is necessary - Requires adult supervision for younger children, not a "start on your own, with no prior experience" kit. Not refills available which is a bummer

This is probably my favorite Barbie, and one of my kids favorites, that I have seen in a long time! I mean screen printing Barbie clothes?!?! That’s pretty awesome! My 6 year old had a blast with this! The directions were easy and she was able to do this with basically no help from me at all. Now here’s what I do not like. You can’t buy refills for this. That to me is crazy and a missed opportunity for the brand in my opinion. Sure, you can buy your own supplies. But it’s not the same for a kid. So while I do really like this and my daughter does as well, I just hope they come out with refills! Weiterlesen
