Excellent choice

The picture in the listing (at least as of when I write this) does not do it justice so I took a picture of the entire deck. You get 9 different designs for cards 2-10 and a different still image from the movie with each face card as well as 2 jokers for a total of 26 differently designed cards. I guess the only things missing are one-eyed jacks and suicide kings. Another reviewer pointed out that the numbers are small and that's true. The suits are even smaller though and I can't wait until some late-night poker game when someone lays down what they think is a flush and it turns out one of their hearts is actually a diamond. You're just gonna have to pay attention especially when it comes to face cards or if the suit really matters in whatever game you're playing. Because I can't tell how they decided what was a Jack and what was an Ace. Maybe they should have made all the Aces Alex and assigned Pete, Georgie and Dim to Jack, Queen and King although I'm not sure who would be which card. "So now it was to be Georgie the General, saying what we should do and what not to do, and Dim as his mindless, grinning bulldog." - Alex DeLarge So that makes Georgie King and Dim the next highest value card (Queen) relegating Pete to the lowly rank of Jack. I mean that's how I would have done it anyway, but I'm not complaining. As far as the actual paper/card material goes I've seen better and worse but these are decent enough. Either you're going to display them as a collectible and never use them in which case they'll be fine or you'll play cards with them and eventually they'll get worn down like any other deck of cards. It's strange that it says "17+" on them as none of the images are very graphic at all. They could have picked much more violent images from the movie and if I were designing the cards, I probably would have. Still not complaining though. Weiterlesen
