Try it!!

This game was super fun, which for me is odd because I'm not HUGE into card games, I'm more of a "need a solid board" kind of girl. Anyway I was either really tired or the directions just didn't catch me like normal and so we watched a tutorial on YouTube and it was super super easy mechanics and pretty fun. There are a couple times instead of ending it where we were supposed to we went another full 3 day round and that makes it less predictable on who is gonna win and such so overall a fun game and I fully intend playing it with my little ones too :D Weiterlesen

I’ve done several run throughs by myself, but have not had a chance to play with anyone yet. I think that it will be nice to try more than 2 players to see how well it scales. (May be a 5 star when I get someone to the table!) This is a cute filler game in which you are trying to get more points than the other players by the end of three terms as you run through a dungeon killing monsters and gathering treasures. Wounds can decrease your end points, but don’t kill you off. There is good replay ability as cards are randomly drawn and there are quite a few characters (8) that you can choose from. Some thought in how you will play those cards will be needed to get ahead of your opponents. Characters have different special abilities that can help improve your score. I have not played all characters to see if they are all balanced. Overall, nice price for a good filler/light weight game. Weiterlesen

How Awesome are you?

Awesome Kingdom: The Tower of Hateskull is a very simple and quick card based dungeon adventure. You are given a hero and set up a series of cards in a similar style to clock patience. This defines the rooms in the dungeon. Each player has cards which tell him how far they can move either clockwise or anti-clockwise on there turn. As you land or sometimes pass over cards actions may be triggered. and the results may see you taking damage, which is negative awesome points, or killing monsters and gaining treasure which is positive awesome points. There are 3 cards to play in a round with each player playing one and then play moves to the next player until all three cards are played. There are a total of three phases, so actually you will only play 9 cards each in total making this abstract game fast. It's not the greatest game ever made but it is fun fast and the artwork and text on the cards make for some silly fun and in My eyes a fast playing little gem. Weiterlesen
