Get Ready to Get Soaked!

I recently purchased the two-pack of Super Soaker Hydro Fury Water Blasters here on Amazon. I have a three and a half year old daughter and a two year old son, and wanted to have some water-guns ready for some of our friends who were coming over for a Barbeque. Getting a two-pack of identical weapons has a tremendous appeal for the "fair and balanced" aspect of any game or water-fight. I can recall getting stuck with a cheap water-gun vs. a well made one, and the experience isn't very fun for either party. These guns fall into the well made category. The range and ease of use is impressive. They tend to be a little difficult for my two year old son to pump up on his own, but that was expected. My daughter has no problem using the with a tremendously satisfying level of super-soaking accuracy. At roughly $16.50 for the pair, I felt it was a pretty good value for the money. They seem fairly durable, even in the hands of my toddlers, despite the "ages three and up warning." The cap for refilling is connected to the gun, so it isn't likely to be lost or swallowed, but as with any toy designed for older children, use with caution if giving these to younger children. Personally, I feel like the hand-eye coordination developed from learning to aim and fire at moving targets is also a huge plus for these or any other water-pistols. Lastly, from the viewpoint of someone who appreciates well designed weapons, these are pretty solid. They are light-weight, easy to pump, and hold a fair amount of water given their size. I'm frankly blown away by how far you're able to fire these after just a few pumps. They shoot at a slight arc when held level, but you can adapt your firing trajectory to further exploit the astounding power and get even more distance out of your shot. Overall, these are very well made water-guns living up to the Supersoaker brand name. If you're in the market for fun in the sun, these are probably an excellent buy. I think these are too complicated for little ones to figure out. when used properly the water stream does go far, but for young kids I think the traditional gun style is better.

Worked great! We all had a blast!

Have had these for 2 years now and they still work like new. They live in the toy box and get thrown around even when they dont have watter in them and they are still working. Not much to say other then the water guns worked great! Used them with my 4 and 5 year old niece and nephew. Everyone had a blast with them. Several adults warned before hand they had no interest in playing with the guns and did not want to be sprayed, 15 minutes in everyone had tried and had a blast guess it was to much to resist. They seem sturdy. They are easy to use, and nice and compact great for storage and sneeking up on people.

Great small water guns

These don't hold much water and aren't very big, but we take them to the pool and are great for travel rather than those big guns. Since they are on the smaller size, not only can adults and larger kids use them, but also 4 and 5 year olds can use the, if taught how to use the pump. Just good fun all around.
